Mining Companion App

Tari Universe Mobile is a companion app designed to work alongside the Tari Universe desktop cryptocurrency mining application. The app enables users to remotely monitor their mining operations, manage their Tari (XTM) cryptocurrency wallet, and perform transactions while away from their mining rigs.

The Challenge

Cryptocurrency miners needed a way to stay connected to their mining operations without being tethered to their desktop computers. Users required real-time insights into their mining status and the ability to manage their Tari wallet on the go, all within an interface that felt intuitive and cohesive.

My Role & Contributions

Working collaboratively within the UX team, I focused on two critical areas:

UX Flow Design

Mapped out user journeys for key tasks including mining status monitoring, balance checking, and sending/receiving XTM
Created task flows that balanced information density with mobile usability
Ensured seamless transitions between monitoring and wallet management features

Design System Implementation

Established a comprehensive design system to ensure visual and functional consistency
Created reusable component libraries for buttons, cards, input fields, and navigation elements
Developed guidelines for typography, color, spacing, and iconography
Enabled the team to work more efficiently while maintaining design cohesion
